The Servello Gallery of Art was founded in October, 2001, by Joe Servello and Bill Moffitt.
Servello has been a nationally recognized artist for over 50 Years and has illustrated over 65 books. Moffitt brought a broad retail background to the partnership and became
the director and curator.
Servello has produced an array of artwork which spans a variety of media, including oils, acrylics, watercolors, crayons, pen & ink, and wood relief. He also works in a variety of styles, locations, and subjects.
In 2009 Servello turned the Gallery over to Moffitt, but continues to produce artwork for the Gallery. At this time the Gallery has added an additional twenty artists who consigned their artwork to the Gallery.
The Servello Gallery has been supportive of the many local and national charitable organizations in donating artwork to aid in the fund raising for those organizations.
In 2011 Moffitt sold the Gallery to W. Robert Stamm of Hockessin, DE, but continues to be the director and curator of the Gallery, and Servello continues to be the primary producer of art for the gallery.
Servello, Moffitt and Stamm have been good friends since high school.
